This season, with the opening of our new restaurant and Bar, you can look forward to seriously good food, fine wines and great times at Big Chalet, Verchaix.

Because every skier should start the day with a good breakfast, at Big Chalet, Verchaix, it's as good as it gets. Go Continental from 7. 45 to 9.30am daily and wake up to fresh bread, juices, preserves, cereals, fruit, and non-stop fresh coffee,  or English Breakfast Tea. Or, for a small supplement, you can choose from a full English breakfast, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs,  as well as homemade fruit smoothies to die for.

For dinner, in the Bistro, with its open-kitchen style dining, overlooking magnificent views across the valley, you can enjoy a superb, menu du jour, or choose from our small à la carte menu.

For your pleasure, our chef has planned a deliciously pleasing repertoire of authentic French Classic and regional dishes, plus an eclectic mix of hearty English favourites. All Bistro fayre is prepared with good local produce (organic wherever possible) and served with a generous soupçon of je ne sais quoi and plenty of fine, fresh, Savoyard ingredients. Our menu is deliciously seasonal –good, hearty and warming in winter.

Dinner is served every evening from 7.30pm, and, available at 6.30pm, a children's high tea is served (totally child friendly, yet using only good, fresh wholesome ingredients). Or, a children's menu is available at dinner. Bon appetit!
